Suggestions to plan your travel…
Provence Cycling Tour
Your tour begins in the beautiful Provençal city of Aix-en-Provence, which is 30 minutes from the Marseille airport.
Most major airline carriers offer connections to the French city of Marseille through European airport hubs. We suggest booking a flight from your hub city to Marseille Provence Airport (IATA code: MRS).
If you arrive the day prior to your tour start, and are staying at our recommended hotel, we provide MRS-airport pick up and transportation to the hotel in Aix-en-Provence. Similarly, you can take a taxi or Uber from MRS-airport into Aix-en-Provence.
You can also book a TGV train (super fast train-approximately 3 hours) from Paris to Aix-en-Provence TGV station. Once you arrive at the train station, you can take a taxi or Uber to your hotel. The train station is only 10 minutes away from the center of Aix-en-Provence.
After booking your tour, we’ll send you a complete travel packet on traveling from Paris to Aix-en-Provence, packing, and and other helpful information to facilitate your trip.
We suggest embracing “l’art de vivre” by arriving in Europe early and spending a couple of days in Paris, Bordeaux or Lyon before meeting us in Aix-en-Provence!

Souillac is approximately half an hour from Sarlat. We will offer a free shuttle van the day prior to the start of your tour from the Souillac train station to Sarlat, otherwise a taxi will get you there in about 30 minutes.
